Our Story

We Focus on building Strong, Intuitive and Dynamic Sites.

Established in 1952 and registered the following year by the then Regional Government of Eastern Nigeria with Registration No. E763, the Calabar Central Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited (CCMPCS LTD), has till date remained one of the oldest and most viable Primary Cooperative Societies East of the Niger. The CCMPCS LTD was subsequently registered also on June 23, 2009 by the Ministry of Social Welfare & Community Development under the Cross River State Cooperative Societies Law No. CRS 19628. Arising from these developments, the name of the Society was changed from the Calabar Central Cooperative Thrift & Credit Society Limited to the Calabar Central Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited.

As a Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited, the primary objective of the CCMPCS LTD is to improve the lots of its numerous members through the collective creation of funds and provision of credit to them at a concessionary rate of interest, charged monthly from their outstanding principal on a reducing balance basis.
