Our Story
We concentrate on building Strong, Intuitive and Dynamic Sites.
Our Cooperative Society, the Calabar Central Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society (CCMPCS) Limited, is a primary, non-institutional Cooperative Society established in 1952 by individuals with common interests. The Society was registered the following year on August 6, 1953 by the then Regional Government of Eastern Nigeria, as the Calabar Central Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Limited. On June 23, 2009, it was re-registered under the Cross River State Cooperative Societies’ Law No. CRS19628 by the then Ministry of Social Welfare and Community Development, with a view to broadening its scope of operations. The CCMPCS has consistently provided reliable and trusted services to its over 1,000 active, registered members, disbursing loan in excess of ₦300.26 billion so far. The Society focuses on members’ collective growth while remaining committed to promoting its catchword of ‘self-help through mutual help’.
