
Mr. Inyang Etim Inyang
Treasurer
Etim Inyang obtained a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan in June 1986 and he is also an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
His career spans across the academia, banking, manufacturing and the Real Estate Sectors – working at some points with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) and Multi-Trex Cocoa Processing Company Limited to mention but a few.
Inyang played a prominent and pioneering role in the establishment of NEXIM Bank – Nigeria’s Export Credit Agency.
He rose to Directorate positions in the afore-mentioned organizations before his voluntary disengagement to pursue his childhood dreams in the Real Estate sector.
Inyang has attended various courses and seminars within and outside the country both as a Participant and Resourse Person, which have added value to his extensive work experience, covering export credit finance, corporate governance, operations of Free Trade Zones, administration and human Capital development, research, marketing, risks analysis/mitigation, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs).
Inyang is widely travelled, visiting over 20 countries in his private and official capacities, including the UK, USA, Canada, China, Israel, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, São Tomé & Principe, Ghana, Mali, Zimbabwe, Hong Kong, Germany, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
Some of the high points of Inyang’s career include a Letter of Commendation from the former Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industries, Ambassador Ibrahim Waziri, in recognition of his selfless dedication to the realization of the economic goals outlined under President Obasanjo’s National Cassava and Cash Crop Development Programmes.
He was a member of some high-level Presidential Committees in the country during which he lent Secretariat support to the Nigerian Delegation to the G7 Summit in Gleneagles, Scotland. (The Group of Seven Summit was an inter-governmental political and economic forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and USA)
Inyang is presently a Honorable Member of the Management Committee of the Calabar Central Multi-purpose Cooperative Society (CCMPCS), serving as a Treasurer. He has previously served as Honourable Member 1 in the Management Committee of the Society.
In addition, he is also at the moment a freelance Trade Financé Specialist with the EURO EXIM Bank based in St. Lucia, West Indies – a responsibility he performs creditably to grow investments, export and import trade across the globe.
He is focused, articulate and a highly committed Team Player, always ready to contribute his quota to the realization of set goals.
